Preliminary Engineering Report Wastewater Treatment Facility
Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM (Sandoval_NM Co.)
Scope: Santo Domingo Pueblo is seeking a long-term wastewater solution. The proposed site for a new Wastewater Treatment Facility will be located a half a mile south of the Kewa Station – Rail Runner Station adjacent to State Road 22 (35°30′16N 106°19'35??gps coordinates). The type of wastewater treatment will be a Sequential Batch Reactor Wastewater Treatment Facility. This facility will serve Santo Domingo Pueblo’s current and future growth needs. Currently, the Main Village lagoons have a maximum capacity of 33M gallons, and the Galesteo lagoons have a maximum capacity of 23M gallons. The lagoon serving the Kewa Gas Station, Santo Domingo Housing office and other facilities are undocumented. The Santo Domingo Health Center, Santo Domingo Early Childhood Learning Center, Santo Domingo Elementary, Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Cedar Tree community, and Wa-Di community are each on their own septic systems. All the aforementioned are seeking to be served by the wastewater treatment facility.
